I was an AI sceptic
I used to be sceptical about AI.

I was an AI sceptic. Actually, that's not quite true.
Back in 2016, when I first developed the business model for Brand New Vision (BNV), one of the initial angles was to combine internet scouring—particularly across social media—with algorithmic analysis to identify and predict emerging trends in the world of fashion. At the time, these tools weren’t referred to as AI, because they didn’t really exist in the way we understand them today. When I pitched the idea to partners and investors, the response was largely sceptical: “We don’t understand this. And you’ve already got enough in the business plan. Probably best to leave it out.”
So we focused on 3D product creation, and eventually pivoted once we understood the implications of blockchain and its potential within the Web3 space. That path brought us to where we are now—deeply immersed in the concept of agentic commerce.
My scepticism about agents specifically emerged during a conversation I had with Daniel, BNV’s co-founder, over three years ago. We discussed how autonomous agents might integrate into our evolving business model. At that point, I struggled to grasp how these agent-based concepts could practically apply to what we were building.
As I started to understand more, I remember one conversation in particular: the idea of agents talking to other agents. That concept left me completely confused. It wasn’t until about a year ago that everything began to make real sense.
It was Christmas 2022 when ChatGPT arrived in public consciousness. I remember spending the holiday experimenting—combining synthesized voice with digital avatars, layering those onto what ChatGPT could produce. As I studied large language models more deeply, the potential business applications began to click.
By mid-2023, we made a conscious decision to fully explore how autonomous agents could be embedded within the BNV ecosystem. The core question became: how can we use agents to help both brands and users—consumers of digital and physical fashion—have a more engaging and intelligent commercial experience?
Toward the end of that year, we discovered the open-source ELIZA framework, designed to let users build and deploy their own autonomous agents. The community around it was vibrant and fast-moving, offering plugins for social media, commerce, and soon after, integration with MCP servers and other connective infrastructure.
Over the last six months, we’ve been building our own agentic network to power both BNV and our native FASH coin. I've completely lost the doubts I had two or three years ago about agents interacting with each other or the viability of agentic commerce. It is now extremely clear. Especially over the last few weeks—working with ELIZA OS v2, enhancing our deployed agents, adding functionality, and experimenting with 20+ new agent personas—we’re seeing the creative and commercial potential open wide.
We’re now preparing to officially launch ai.bnv.me—a platform and interface where anyone, whether from our existing community or newcomers, can build, train, and guide their own agent. As we prepare for the full launch of FASH and the introduction of BrandCoins, this system will bridge the world of brands, crypto, and co-creative consumers in entirely new ways. It’s about real partnerships, shared ownership, and creating new commercial relationships that benefit everyone involved.
So in summary: stay tuned. Follow us on LinkedIn (including BNV’s domain account), Twitter, and Instagram—not just for company updates, but also for what’s next. Our Agentic Street Team will be out there, engaging with the world in a completely new way—marketing brands, products, and ideas like it’s never been done before.
